Drip. Drip. Drip.
Have you ever had grape ice cream? In this week’s sneaker of the week, straight from The Custom Movement, we present the “Nike Air Force Ones (Purple Drip)” ($233), a sneaker from Sticky Murphy Customs that brings waves of purplish frozen goodness.
With the power of purple-grape drip, Sticky Murphy Customs creates a delicious concoction of color, creativity, and melting flavors, reminiscent of the gooey, drippy concoction of grape ice cream on a hot summer’s day.
About the Sneaker
This stunning work is created in the customizer’s standard, a crisp pair of black Air Force 1 lows. Sticky Murphy Customs choice sneaker is a durable, dark canvas perfect for extensive paintwork.
And, with brush and paints in hand, Sticky Murphy Customs creatively and completely remakes the Air Force 1 pair with their creation. In a fresh, dripping purple coat, Sticky Murphy Customs paints the upper in a pink-purple grape coat. But the detailed drip work that they add is what gives this delectable shoe its true flavors.
Under the uppers, along the midsole, Sticky Murphy Customs paints the wet, viscous teardrop-shaped dripwork, which appears to slowly fall towards the ground. Additionally, Sticky Murphy Customs paints the black drops that drip down from the black toebox onto the grape-purple uppers. All the dripwork is additionally detailed with teardrop detailing in white, adding an element of 3D detailing.
These sneakers are premium in paints, too. In high-quality Angelus leather paints and matte finish, and finishing it with a seal of Raleigh Restorations’ scratch-resistant sealer, Sticky Murphy Customs ensures a durable, lasting coat of paint, protected from the elements for years to come.
These Air Force 1 “Purple Drip'' sneakers shine in their design, detailing, and beautiful colors. A sweet, juicy creation of a sneaker, these Air Force 1s from Sticky Murphy Customs are the perfect addition to the transcendent ensemble of custom sneakers from the ever-growing list of amazing artists here.
